Full HD and 4K YouTube downloads — with audio
YouTube streams high resolutions as separate video and audio tracks. Most simple downloaders can only give you 360p or 720p because of that. VSnap downloads both tracks and joins them on our servers, so 1080p60, 1440p and 2160p (4K) files play with sound in any player.
MP4 files use H.264 wherever YouTube offers it for the widest compatibility with phones, TVs and editing apps. Choose WEBM to keep YouTube’s original VP9 stream, or MKV to keep every stream untouched.
Frequently asked questions
Can I download YouTube Shorts?
Yes. Paste the Shorts link (youtube.com/shorts/…) like any other video. There is also a dedicated Shorts downloader page.
Why is 4K not listed for my video?
We show exactly the resolutions YouTube offers for that video. If the uploader didn’t upload in 4K, the highest option will be lower.
Can I download a whole playlist?
Paste a playlist link and we list its videos so you can pick the ones you want and download them one by one.
Can I download age-restricted or members-only videos?
No. Those require signing in to YouTube, so they are not supported.
Are subtitles available?
When a video has subtitles, you’ll find them under More as SRT files, together with the thumbnail.
Is it free?
Yes, completely free and no sign-up is needed.
Where are downloaded YouTube videos saved?
In your browser’s Downloads folder. On iPhone, open the Files app → Downloads. On Android, check the Downloads or Gallery app.
