Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 1, 2026

This policy explains what information VSnap (vsnap.saytrix.com) processes and why.

What we process

• Links you submit and the resulting job details (platform, format, time, status). These are used to perform the conversion, to show your progress and to fix problems, and are kept for a short time in our job logs.
• Downloaded files are stored temporarily so you can save them and are deleted automatically after 60 minutes.
• Technical data such as your IP address and browser type, used for security, rate limiting and abuse prevention. We store a one-way hash of your IP address with jobs rather than the address itself.
• Messages you send through the contact form (name, email, message) so we can reply.

Cookies and advertising

The downloader itself does not need cookies. We show advertising to keep the service free; advertising partners may use cookies or similar technologies to show and measure ads. You can control cookies in your browser settings.

Sharing

We do not sell personal data. To fetch media, our servers contact the website you linked to; we may route that traffic through network providers (proxies). Advertising partners receive the information their scripts collect directly from your browser.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete your data. Contact us at our contact form and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Children

The service is not directed to children under 13.
